Alright, listen up, y’all. Gonna tell ya ’bout this wrestling thing, WWE, comin’ to Salt Lake City. Heard it’s gonna be a big to-do at that Delta Center place, whatever that is.
So, they’re callin’ it Friday Night SmackDown. Sounds like a whole lotta thumpin’ and bumpin’ goin’ on. These fellas and gals, they ain’t messin’ around, I tell ya. Big muscles, fancy outfits, and they just go at it. Reminds me of cousin Billy fightin’ over the last piece of pie at Thanksgiving, only, you know, way more… theatrical.
They got these fellas, like this Rock fella, real popular, I hear. And that Roman Reigns, he’s a tough one, they say. Always struttin’ around like a rooster in a hen house. Then there’s this Logan Paul, the young whippersnapper. Folks say he’s got some moves, but I dunno, seems kinda cocky to me.
- They got this Bianca Belair, she’s tough as nails.
- And that Blair Davenport, she don’t take no lip from nobody.
- And Chelsea Green too, scrappy lil thing, she is.
They’ll be battlin’ it out, fightin’ for somethin’ or other. Championship belts, they call ‘em. Big shiny things. Don’t know what you do with ‘em, but I guess it means you’re the best at thumpin’ and bumpin’. Sounds like a whole lotta fuss to me, but folks seem to like it.
Now, this whole thing’s happenin’ on November 22nd, 2024. That’s a Friday, if I remember right. They’re gonna be doin’ this WWE Speed thing too. Don’t rightly know what that is, sounds like they’re in a hurry or somethin’. Probably just more thumpin’ and bumpin’ but faster, I reckon.
It’s at that Delta Center, like I said. Big place, I hear. Probably gonna be a whole lotta folks yellin’ and cheerin’. Reminds me of the county fair when they have that pig race. Same kinda energy, I guess.
They sayin’ this is gonna be on the TV too, on the USA Network. So if you can’t make it down to Salt Lake City, you can watch it on that there magic picture box. I ain’t got one myself, prefer sittin’ on the porch and watchin’ the squirrels, but to each their own, I say.
And they sellin’ tickets too, if you wanna go see it in person. Vivid Events, they callin’ themselves. Sound like city folk to me. Don’t know how much them tickets cost, probably cost an arm and a leg. But folks seem willin’ to pay it, I guess. They got folks comin’ from all over for this thing, or so I hear.
They also tappin’ somethin’ called the Black Friday edition of SmackDown. Don’t know what that means, but it sounds like they’re workin’ hard, these folks. Workin’ harder than ol’ Bessie in the garden, that’s for sure.
So there ya have it. WWE comin’ to Salt Lake City. Gonna be a whole lotta thumpin’, bumpin’, yellin’ and cheerin’. If that’s your kinda thing, then you go on down there and have yourself a time. Me? I’ll probably just stick to watchin’ the squirrels. Less noisy, that’s for sure. But hey, different strokes for different folks, right? That’s what my grandma used to say, bless her heart.
