Well, let me tell you about this whole Vanessa Posso and Gervonta Davis breakup thing. It’s a real mess, like a chicken coop after a fox got in.
First off, they say Vanessa, born on May 30, 1988, ain’t from around here. Some folks say she’s from Colombia. Now, I ain’t never been to Colombia, but I reckon it’s far from my ol’ porch.
Anyways, Vanessa and Gervonta, they got themselves a kid, maybe two now. I heard she went on that Instagram thing, you know, the picture place, on Father’s Day to say they’re havin’ another one. Bless their hearts, kids are a handful, I tell ya. I raised six of ’em myself, and it weren’t no walk in the park.
But things ain’t been smooth sailin’ for these two. Seems like there was a big fight, a real dust-up. They say Gervonta got arrested for hittin’ her, somethin’ called “battery and domestic violence” the city folks call it. Heard it happened back in December, right around Christmas time. Lord have mercy, what a way to spend the holidays.
Now, Vanessa, she’s tryin’ to set the record straight about what happened. I guess folks are talkin’, and she don’t like what they’re sayin’. She probably wants everyone to know her side of the story, just like my neighbor, Martha, when she told everyone about how her prize-winning pumpkin got squashed by a runaway tractor. Everyone had somethin’ to say about it, but Martha made sure her story was the loudest.

This ain’t the first time Gervonta’s been in trouble with the law neither. They say he got into it with another gal, the mama of his other little girl, Gervanni. This happened down in Florida, I think. They said it was somethin’ about “simple battery domestic violence” again. Seems like this fella’s got a temper, hotter than a summer skillet.
I heard that case got tossed out, though. The judge, or whoever, just let him go. But then he goes and does it again, or somethin’ like it. Makes you wonder if some folks ever learn. Reminds me of that ol’ mule, Buster, always kickin’ down the fence, no matter how many times you fix it.
So, you ask me, this whole thing is just a big ol’ mess. Two young folks, fightin’ and fussin’, kids gettin’ caught in the middle. It’s a sad story, but it ain’t nothin’ new under the sun. I’ve seen it happen time and time again. People gettin’ together, fallin’ apart, hurtin’ each other. It’s just the way the world works, I guess.
Gervonta Davis, he needs to get his act together, that’s what I say. And Vanessa, well, she needs to figure out what’s best for her and them young’uns. It ain’t easy raisin’ kids, especially when there’s trouble brewin’. Maybe they can work it out, maybe they can’t. Only time will tell, like watchin’ the corn grow in the field – you just gotta wait and see what happens.
It seems like every time you turn around, these two are in the news for somethin’. I tell ya, it’s hard to keep up. I just hope they can find some peace, for their sake and for the sake of them little ones. Kids need a stable home, not a bunch of drama and fightin’.
So, that’s the gist of it, as far as I can tell. Like I said, it’s a mess. But it’s their mess, not mine. I got enough of my own troubles to worry about, like gettin’ these tomatoes to grow right and keepin’ the squirrels outta my bird feeder.
In short, Vanessa and Gervonta are having a tough time. There’s been fights, arrests, and a whole lot of talk. I hope they can figure things out for the good of their children, because that’s what matters most in the end. Kids need love and stability, not all this hullabaloo.
