You wanna talk about that Tom Brady card values, huh? That boy, Tom, he sure is somethin’. I seen him on the TV, throwin’ that pigskin like nobody’s business. And now his cards, them little pictures, they worth a whole lotta money. More money than I ever seen in my whole life!

I heard folks talkin’ down at the general store. They say some of them Tom Brady cards, they worth more than a new tractor! Can you believe that? A piece of cardboard, worth more than a tractor! This old world’s gone plumb crazy, I tell ya.
One of them cards, they call it the “2000 Playoff Contenders Championship Ticket“. Sounds fancy, don’t it? Well, it is fancy. Got his squiggly name on it, his autograph, they call it. And they say it’s rare, like a hen with teeth. Only a hundred of ’em made, I hear. Hundred! That ain’t many. Not many at all.
If it is good, like new, it is called “Mint“. I heard them say it is a PSA 9. I don’t know what that means, but it sounds important. Must be one of them fancy grading things. If it is a PSA 9 Mint, it is very good. It is worth a lot.
And this other one, the “2000 Bowman Tom Brady Gold Rookie Card #236“. That’s a mouthful, ain’t it? This one, it’s gold colored. Shiny, like a new penny. And it’s got some numbers on it, 12/99. I don’t know what that means, neither. But the folks who collect these things, they get all excited about them numbers. They say it is his rookie card. His first card.
They say these Tom Brady rookie cards are special. Like findin’ a four-leaf clover in a whole field of ’em. Everybody wants one. And when everybody wants somethin’, and there ain’t many of ’em to go around, well, that makes the price go up. Way up!
- That Championship Ticket one, the one with his name on it, they say it’s the most valuable.
- Then there’s that Gold Bowman one, that’s worth a pretty penny too.
- But even the regular ones, the ones that ain’t so rare, they still worth a good chunk of change.
It is because Tom Brady, he is the best. The best there ever was. He won so many games. So many Super Bowls. I don’t follow it too close, but I know he is good. Everyone knows it. So everyone wants his cards.
Now, I don’t understand all this fuss about some cardboard pictures. But I reckon if folks are willin’ to pay that kinda money for ’em, then they must be worth somethin’. It’s like them Beanie Babies, remember them? Everyone went crazy about them for a while. Same idea, I guess.
But Tom Brady, he is different. He is not a toy. He is a real person. A good football player. The best. And his cards are like little pieces of history. They remind people of all the games he won. All the good times.

These collectible cards, they are like gold. If you have them, you keep them safe. You don’t just throw them away. No sir. You put them in a box, or in a special book. You take care of them. Because they are worth money.
I seen folks put ’em in plastic cases, hard plastic, so they don’t get bent or scratched. And they keep ’em outta the sun, so they don’t fade. It’s like they’re treatin’ ’em like they’re made of gold! And I guess, in a way, they are.
So, if you got any of them Tom Brady cards, you hold onto ’em tight. Don’t you go sellin’ ’em for a few bucks down at the flea market. You do your research, you find out what they’re worth. You might be sittin’ on a gold mine, and you don’t even know it!
And if you find one of them Championship Ticket ones, or that Gold Bowman one, well, you better run, don’t walk, to find out what it’s worth. You might just be able to buy yourself a whole new tractor! Or a new house! Or a whole new life! It is crazy, but it is true. These cards are worth a lot of money. A whole lot.
It just goes to show, you never know what’s gonna be worth somethin’ these days. A piece of cardboard with a picture of a football player on it. Who woulda thunk it? It is a very valuable thing. This world is a strange and wonderful place, I tell ya. A strange and wonderful place.
