Alright, today I’m gonna talk about this “Path of the Proxy II” thing. It’s some kind of rank-up trial in that game, Zenless Zone Zero. Honestly, I’ve been playing this game for a while now, and it’s pretty cool. But these trials? They can be a bit of a pain.
So, first, I had to unlock this trial, right? You don’t just jump into it. You gotta do some prep work. I remember grinding through the “Trace to the Source” story commission. That took a bit of time, but I got it done eventually. That’s where the real headache started. I found out I needed to hit Inter-Knot Account level 30, and collect a bunch of those Hollow Observation Data things. 100 of them, can you believe it?
I spent days just farming these things. Running around, doing missions, and beating up enemies. It was a total grind-fest. My Inter-Knot level was inching up slowly, but it felt like forever. I even had to change my whole strategy a few times to get more efficient at collecting that data. Some of those missions are just brutal, let me tell you.
Then, one day, I finally hit level 30. “Yes!” I thought, “Finally!” But no, I still needed more of that Hollow data. I was at like, 80 or something. So close, yet so far. But I kept at it, and boom, one evening, I finally collected that 100th piece of data.

I immediately went to start the trial. I was pumped. I was ready. This was it. The “Senior Proxy” rank was within my grasp. The trial itself was tough, no joke. I had to fight through waves of enemies. Some of them were these big, scary Ethereals. I used up all my best moves, dodging and attacking, trying to stay alive.
There were a few close calls, but I managed to pull through. And you know what? I did it. I completed the trial. That “Senior Proxy” rank was finally mine. It felt good, man. All that grinding, all that effort, it paid off.
But let me tell you, it was a journey. If you’re gonna try to get this rank, be prepared to put in some serious work. It ain’t easy, but it’s definitely doable. Just gotta keep at it, and don’t give up. Now I have to hit level 40 and get the “Path of the Proxy III” and fight a big Farbauti Ethereal. And I still have to hit level 50 and clear the “Path of the Proxy 4” to unlock Proxy Reputation Rank ‘Legendary’ and raise my Inter-Knot Account level to 60.
