So, this Garcia-Rodriguez, seems like they are everywhere. You know, like ants at a picnic. I hear the name on the radio, see it on the TV. Everybody talking about Garcia-Rodriguez this, Garcia-Rodriguez that. Makes my head spin!
First, I hear about a fighter, a boxer maybe. Robert Garcia, that’s the name. He’s talking big, saying someone’s gonna win. This was supposed to happen April 8th. Who knows what happened there. He’s training this other fella, Jesse ‘Bam’ Rodriguez, for a fight. Sounds rough to me! Boxing, pshaw! Nothing but trouble.

Then, there’s this doctor, a Dr. Garcia-Rodriguez. Fancy! He does something with ears, nose, and throat. Otolaryngology, they call it. Big word. And he does plastic surgery too. Fixes faces after skin cancer. That’s good work, I guess. Important, you know? Helps folks feel better about themselves. I ain’t never had nothin’ like that done. My wrinkles are here to stay. It is what it is.

And you can’t swing a cat without hitting a Garcia-Rodriguez! It is a common name. Seems like every other person has it. I even tried to look these folks up. Found phone numbers and addresses for loads of them. Texas, California, Florida. You name it. All over the country. These Garcia-Rodriguez folks, they get around! It’s hard to keep them all straight in my head!
Garcia-Rodriguez: In Real Estate Too!
Then there’s this website, * or something like that. You can find real estate agents there. And guess what? More Garcia-Rodriguez! Selling houses, I reckon. Everyone needs a roof over their head. I’ve lived in the same house for 50 years. Can’t imagine moving. Too much work. But these young folks, they like to move around, I guess.
I found a Garcia-Rodriguez in New York. Fancy school. The Wharton School. Big shot, I bet. Working for some company called Groton Partners. Don’t know what they do, but it sounds important. Big city stuff. Too much hustle and bustle for me. I prefer things quiet, you know. Like it is in the country.
And another one in Los Angeles, California. A communications specialist. Something about digital media and storytelling. Sounds like a lot of fancy talk to me. Young folks and their computers. They know all those new things. Good for them, I suppose. Back in my day, we just talked face to face. That’s how you told stories.
Garcia-Rodriguez: Everywhere You Look
This name, Garcia-Rodriguez, it just keeps popping up. Like weeds in the garden. You think you got rid of them all, and then boom! There they are again. It’s a popular name, that’s for sure. Lots of folks with that name. Doing all sorts of things. Fighting, doctoring, selling houses, talking on computers. You name it, there’s a Garcia-Rodriguez doing it.
It’s a small world, ain’t it? Everyone is connected some way. You never know who you’ll meet or what name you’ll hear. I just hope I can keep all these Garcia-Rodriguez folks straight in my head! It’s a lot to remember! They are all over the place doing all kinds of things.
