Okay, so the other day I was watching the Olympics, and it hit me – what about a Jeopardy game themed around the Olympics? I’ve always loved trivia, and combining it with my Olympic fever seemed like a fun project. So, I decided to give it a shot.

First things first, I needed a plan. I figured I’d start by gathering a bunch of Olympic facts. I mean, you can’t have a Jeopardy game without the questions, right? I spent a good chunk of time browsing the internet, reading up on past games, famous athletes, and those little-known quirky Olympic stories. It was like a deep dive into a whole new world.
I organized my findings into categories, just like in the real Jeopardy. I went with stuff like:
- Summer Games History
- Winter Games Wonders
- Legendary Athletes
- Olympic Host Cities
- Odd Sports Out (for those weird sports that only appeared once)
Once I had a good amount of trivia, I needed a way to actually play the game. I’m no coding wizard, so I opted for something simple at the beginning. Writing every question and answer by hand, with categories and dollar amounts. It was working, but slow.
And that’s pretty much it! It’s a fun, ongoing project. Now, I could invite friends and family to challenge each other, which is very satisfying.
