Alright, so listen up, y’all. Let’s talk about this Razorback injury thing. You know, them football boys been gettin’ themselves banged up somethin’ fierce.
First off, that Taylen Green fella, the quarterback, yeah? Heard he hurt his knee somethin’ awful in that game against Tennessee. Them Volunteers, they play rough, I tell ya. Now, they sayin’ he’s “questionable” for the LSU game. Questionable, my foot! That just means they don’t know if he’s gonna be able to run around without fallin’ apart. Poor boy, hope he ain’t too banged up. He’s been throwin’ the ball pretty good, 2,214 yards they say, and 11 touchdowns. But them 7 interceptions, well, that ain’t so good. Gotta hold onto that ball, son!
- He got hurt in the win against Tennessee.
- They’re sayin’ he might play against LSU.
- He’s thrown for a lot of yards, but also some interceptions.
Then there’s that Landon Jackson, the defensive end. Lord have mercy, that boy got hurt real bad. They had to carry him off the field on a cart, can you believe it? Said it was his neck. Neck injuries, them’s scary. They took him to the hospital and everything. He was tryin’ to tackle that Missouri fella, Jamal Roberts, and just went down. Hope he’s alright, that boy. He’s a tough one, always givin’ it his all. He was playin’ against Missouri, them Tigers are tough too.
Now, they got this big game comin’ up against LSU. Number 8, they say. That’s a tough one, y’all. LSU ain’t no joke. And without Green, and maybe Jackson, well, it’s gonna be a hard row to hoe. They gotta keep their legs fresh, the coach said. Well, I reckon they do! Can’t be runnin’ around like chickens with their heads cut off if they ain’t got no legs under ’em.
And there’s somethin’ about another injury, somethin’ about Jackson, maybe not Landon, maybe another one. They sayin’ more information is comin’. Well, I hope it’s good news. These boys, they work hard, and it’s a shame to see ‘em gettin’ hurt all the time.
They also gotta play them Ole Miss Rebels. Number 19, they are. Another tough game. Seems like every game in this SEC is tough. Ain’t no easy wins, that’s for sure. They got a 5-3 record, 3-2 in the SEC. That ain’t bad, but it could be better. Gotta win these next few games if they wanna go to a good bowl game, you know?
Anyways, that’s the lowdown on the Razorback injuries, as best as I can tell ya. It ain’t lookin’ too good, but them boys are tough. They’ll fight, they always do. Just gotta hope they don’t get no more fellas hurt. It’s hard watchin’ them gettin’ carried off the field like that. Makes an old lady like me worry, you know? They’re just kids, after all. But they’re strong kids, tough kids, and they’ll do their best, I reckon.
So, keep your fingers crossed, y’all, and say a little prayer for them Razorbacks. They need all the help they can get. And maybe somebody ought to give them boys some extra padding or somethin’. Seems like they need it more than ever these days.
And that’s all I got to say about that. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go make some supper. All this talk about football has made me hungry.
