Okay, so, I got this crossword puzzle thing, right? And there’s this clue that says, “They require inspiration.” I was like, what the heck does that even mean? It was in the New York Times Crossword, the one from December 1, 2023, I think.
So, I started looking around. I went to this crossword solver place, and it gave me like 30 possible answers. 30! That’s way too many. I just wanted to figure this thing out, you know?
Digging for Answers
I kept digging. I found a bunch of websites that were all talking about this same clue. Seems like a lot of folks were stuck on it. One of them had the answer, and it said it was also in some other crossword on December 2nd.
- I saw this one site that listed “BREATHS” as a possible answer. It also had some related clues, like “Signs of life” and “Gulps of air.” That got me thinking…
- Another place straight up said the answer was “BREATHS” and told me to check out their master topic for the whole crossword puzzle if I needed more help.
Figuring It Out
BREATHS. That’s the answer! It makes sense, right? Because breaths, like, you need to breathe, and it’s a sign of life, and inspiration can mean breathing in, literally. It finally clicked! It’s kind of a clever clue when you think about it.
So, yeah, that was my little adventure with this crossword clue. It took a bit of searching and thinking, but I got it in the end. It’s kind of satisfying to finally crack a tough one like that. I guess even a simple crossword puzzle can be a little journey, right?
