Well, let me tell ya ’bout this fella, Drew McIntyre, y’know, the wrestler guy. Folks keep talkin’ about him, so I figured I’d spill what I know. Heard he started wrestlin’ when he was just a young whippersnapper, barely 22, they say. WWE debut, big stuff, they made it sound like. Folks were all excited, seein’ this young fella jumpin’ around.
But, things didn’t go so smooth, seems like. They pushed him hard, made a big deal outta him, then poof! Gone. Let him go, they did. Said he wasn’t good enough, or somethin’. Guess that lit a fire under his butt, though. He went off, wrestled all over the place, got stronger, got meaner. Came back a whole different fella.
Now, they say he’s makin’ a whole lotta money. Millions, they say! Salary, that’s what the city folks call it. A million a year, maybe more. Can you imagine? That’s more money than I ever seen in my whole life. All for wrasslin’ around in them tight pants. Must be good at it, I reckon.
I saw him on the TV once, fightin’ this big fella, Brock somethin’-or-other. Big ol’ beast he was. And Drew, he went at him, no fear. Fought hard, he did. They said it was for the WWE Champion thingy, the biggest prize they got. He almost got it too, but that big fella, he was tough.
- He fought real hard.
- Almost won the big prize.
- That other guy was tough as nails.
Then there was that time, over in some castle, they said. Big fight, lots of folks watchin’. And just recently, I heard he was smackin’ down some other fella, Sami somethin’. Seems like he’s always fightin’ somebody, that Drew.
Heard some bad news too, though. Poor fella’s wife, she got sick. Real sick. Had to go to the hospital, they said. Emergency surgery, somethin’ awful. Hope she’s doin’ alright now, that poor woman. He had to go fight without her there, all alone. Must’ve been tough on him, I reckon. Family’s important, y’know. More important than all that wrestlin’ and money, if you ask me.
They talk about him goin’ up against some fella named Punk now. Says it’s gonna be a big deal, like somethin’ from a long time ago. Two fellas, goin’ at it, just like in the old days. They keep comparin’ it to some other fight, but I don’t remember all them names. Too many of ‘em. All I know is, they say it’s gonna be somethin’ special. A real showdown, that’s what they call it.
So yeah, that’s what I know ‘bout this Drew McIntyre. Started young, got let go, came back strong, makin’ lots of money, fightin’ all the time, and his poor wife gettin’ sick. Life’s a funny thing, ain’t it? One minute you’re on top of the world, the next you’re worryin’ about your loved ones. But that’s just how it goes, I guess. You just gotta keep fightin’, just like Drew.
And they keep talkin’ ’bout his career, all the matches and the prizes he won, sounds like he’s been through a lot. Seems like he ain’t done yet though, still going strong after all these years. Gotta hand it to him, that’s for sure. He ain’t afraid of hard work, that boy. From what I hear, they keep makin’ a big deal ’bout Drew Mcintyre’s greatest moments, showin’ clips of him wrasslin’ and whatnot. He’s always workin’ hard and fightin’ hard, that what I see. And that’s about all there is to it, as far as I can tell.
