Alright, so listen up, y’all. Gonna tell ya ’bout this thing with that fella, Jermell Charlo, and his woman, Chyane Westbrook. Heard it all through the grapevine, you know how it goes in small towns… well, not so small town, but news travels fast anyway.
So, this Charlo fella, he’s a boxer, they say. Big and strong, punches folks for a livin’. But seems like he got himself into some real trouble, not the punchin’ kind, well, kinda punchin’ I guess.
Chyane Westbrook, that’s his wife, see? She done went and filed for somethin’ called a “restrainin’ order” and a divorce. Lord have mercy. Means she don’t wanna be near him no more, and she wants out of the marriage. Can’t say I blame her, the way things sound.
- They say he got arrested. Yep, the police took him away. For “assault,” they call it. Means he hurt someone, probably her. Don’t know for sure, mind you, but that’s what folks are sayin’.
- Now, this ain’t the first time somethin’ like this has happened, I reckon. Seems like this fella got a temper, a real bad one. Poor Chyane, havin’ to deal with that.
- Heard they got kids too. Little ones. Breaks your heart, it does. Kids need a stable home, not all this fightin’ and fussin’.
They say she filed some papers, court papers, you know? Wants the judge to keep him away from her and the kids. Smart woman, that Chyane. Gotta protect yourself and your youngins.
Folks sayin’ he got out on bail. That means he paid some money to get outta jail for now, but he still gotta go to court and answer for what he done. Judge ain’t gonna be happy, that’s for sure.
I seen some folks talkin’ about it on them computery things, you know, the internet? They posted some audios and stuff. Sounded like a whole lotta yellin’ and carryin’ on. Not right, I tell ya. Not right at all.
This Westbrook woman, she’s had enough, it seems. Can’t blame her. Nobody deserves to be treated like that. Man’s gotta learn to control himself, no matter how big and strong he is.
They say he’s a champion boxer. Big deal. Being a champion don’t give you the right to hurt nobody. In fact, it should make you more responsible, not less.
Now, I ain’t no lawyer or nothin’, but I know right from wrong. And what this Charlo fella did, sounds mighty wrong to me. Hope that judge gives him what for. And I hope Chyane and them kids get the peace they deserve.
This whole mess, it just goes to show you, money and fame don’t mean nothin’ if you ain’t got respect and kindness in your heart. Treatin’ people right, that’s what matters. And this fella, well, he needs to learn that lesson, and learn it fast.
Gonna be seein’ how this all plays out in court, I reckon. Hope justice is served. Hope that Chyane finds herself a good man, one who treats her with respect and love. And I hope that Charlo fella gets the help he needs to control that temper of his. For his sake, and for the sake of them kids.
It’s a sad story, it is. But it happens too often, don’t it? Men thinkin’ they can do whatever they want. Well, they can’t. Not no more. Women are standin’ up for themselves, and that’s a good thing. A real good thing.
So, that’s the story as I heard it, y’all. Jermell Charlo, Chyane Westbrook, and a whole lotta trouble. Let’s hope things get better for them, especially for that woman and her kids. They deserve a better life than this.
This whole thing with Jermell Charlo and the assault charges and the divorce… it’s just a mess, a real big mess. And Chyane Westbrook, bless her heart, she’s right in the middle of it all. Makes you wonder, don’t it?
