Well, let me tell ya somethin’ about that Randy Orton fella back in 2009. That boy, he was somethin’ else. Strong as an ox, mean as a snake. He was in that big ol’ Royal Rumble thing that year, you know, the one where all them wrestlers get in the ring and try to throw each other out. Bunch of foolishness if you ask me, but folks sure do love watchin’ it.

2009 Randy Orton Remember His Biggest Matches That Year?

2009, that was a year, I tell ya. That Randy, he was runnin’ around causin’ all sorts of trouble. He was always fightin’ with them other big fellas. John Cena, remember him? Big strong fella. They was always goin’ at it. Then there was that Triple H, another big shot. They was all fightin’ for that shiny belt, the championship, they called it.

Royal Rumble 2009

That Royal Rumble in 2009, it was in Detroit. Big city, lots of people. That place was packed tighter than a can of sardines. Everybody hollerin’ and screamin’, carryin’ on. That Randy, he went in there, and he was throwin’ folks left and right. He was a man on a mission, that’s for sure.

  • Randy Orton won the Royal Rumble
  • He was fightin’ with all them other boys
  • Big Show, he was there too. Big fella.
  • Cody Rhodes, Ted DiBiase, Jr. – they was there with Randy

He had them two young fellas helpin’ him, Cody and Ted somethin’, I reckon. They was a team, I guess. They called themselves, what was it? Legacy. Yeah, that was it. Legacy. Like they was some kinda royalty or somethin’.

Randy, he won that whole thing. He was the last one standin’ after all that wrasslin’. He was all smiles then, holdin’ his arms up. Crowd was goin’ wild. It was a sight to see, I suppose.

WrestleMania 25

After that Royal Rumble, he went on to that WrestleMania thing. Another big show. Lots of fancy lights and loud music. He was fightin’ for that championship belt, against Triple H, I think it was. They went at it hard, those two.

That Randy Orton, he was really somethin’ back in ’09. He won a lot, I remember that much. He was on TV all the time. My grandson, he used to watch him all the time. Had posters of him on his wall. Drove me crazy, all that noise. But, you know, kids these days. They love that wrasslin’.

He had that move, they called it the RKO. He’d jump up and grab a fella by the head and slam him down. Knocked the wind right outta them, I reckon. He was good at it, that Randy.

Randy Orton’s Big Matches

He had a lot of big fights that year, that Randy Orton. Not just that Royal Rumble thing. He was fightin’ all the time.

  • He fought John Cena, I remember that.
  • And that Shawn Michaels, he was a tough one.
  • He even fought that Cactus Jack fella one time. That was a rough one.

They hit each other with chairs and all sorts of things. It was somethin’ else, I tell ya. Not like the wrasslin’ we used to watch back in my day. Back then, it was more about the holds and the throws. Now, they just beatin’ each other up with whatever they can find.

He had that group, Legacy, with them two other young’uns. Cody Rhodes and that Ted DiBiase. They’d help him out sometimes. Ganged up on folks. That Randy Orton, he wasn’t always a fair fighter, but he sure did win a lot.

Randy Orton in 2009

Yep, 2009 was a big year for Randy Orton. He won that Royal Rumble, fought at WrestleMania, had all them big matches. He was a big star back then.

He’s still around, I think. I see him on the TV sometimes. He’s older now, got some gray hair, I reckon. But he’s still wrasslin’.

That boy, he’s had some back trouble recently. They say he can still fight though. Tough as nails that one, always has been. He can do things he could do in his 20s. That’s somethin’. He thought his career was over.

Well, that’s all I got to say about that Randy Orton fella in 2009. He was a big deal back then, that’s for sure. Won a lot of matches, caused a lot of trouble. Just like them wrestlers always do.

He even fought that Gunther fella recently. Lost that one but people say his shoulders weren’t on the ground. Don’t know what that means, but sounds fishy.

He got hurt by that K.O. fella. Couldn’t walk on his own. He was really hurtin’ I guess. Those two, they was really goin’ at it.
