Now, the South Course, it ain’t as old as that North one. It got a makeover not too long ago. A fella named Jeff Goldman, he was involved back in 2007. Then, in 2008, another fella, Steve Smyers, he came in and messed with the greens and the sand traps, you know, those bunker things. Made it all nice and new, I guess.

You wanna see what it looks like? Well, I can’t show ya, but they got these fancy computer things. You can see the whole course, like a map, but all high-tech. They call it “2D” and “3D,” and there’s even one for your phone. And if you’re like me and like things on paper, you can print out yardage charts too. They got all the distances and stuff. Real convenient, if you ask me.
Folks seem to like this South Course. I heard tell that the members at Olympia Fields, they voted to fix it up. They must really like it there. I don’t know much about golf, but it sounds like a big deal. Lots of planning and work went into it.
This Olympia Fields, it’s a country club, you know, for fancy folks. But anyone can play on the South Course, I think, as long as they pay, of course. It’s not some secret place or nothin’. It’s been fixed up all nice and modern. And you can even look at the course on your phone before you go, ain’t that somethin’? Technology these days, it’s just amazin’.
Now, I don’t play golf myself. Too much walking, and those little balls, they’re easy to lose. But I can appreciate a nice-lookin’ place when I see one. And from what I hear, this Olympia Fields South Course, it’s a real purdy place. Green grass, nice trees, and those little flag things. It’s all very… picturesque, I think is the word.
